Paper #1

After meeting with our groups and viewing my group members papers i noticed that they have a better grasp on thesis statments. I know what I want to talk about and about how my final paper will look, but I just don't know how to sum it all up and make one sentence introducing my analysis. I get just about how everything else is supposed to sound and look I just can't get my thesis in order.

When I have problems with my thesis statement I will take a blank sheet of paper and write down all the high points of my essay. Write about what is important and what you will elaborate most on. After that just try to play around with different words and sentence structures until you find one that would suffice as a good thesis for your paper. Good luck!

I also have problems with my thesis statement so it is not just you. I have learned that it is good to possibly compare things in the statement. Also make up a statement that is very simple and then try to make it complex. That seems to help me.
